Hyderabad: In a significant step towards resolving the grievances of Telangana government employees, the state government’s three-member committee on Saturday submitted its report to the ministers’ sub-committee.
The panel, comprising CCLA Commissioner Naveen Mittal, Panchayat Raj Principal Secretary Lokesh Kumar, and Transco CMD Krishna Bhaskar, had earlier gathered representations from Telangana employees’ unions on various pending issues.
Following a series of meetings with union leaders, the committee presented its findings to the sub-committee chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu at the Praja Bhavan on Saturday evening. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and government advisor K. Keshava Rao attended the meeting.
After receiving the report, the sub-committee decided to conduct a detailed study before holding fresh discussions with employee unions at the earliest. This move is expected to pave the way for resolving the longstanding demands of the employees.
