Hyderabad: Two young men died on the spot in a bike crash near Komaram Bheem Junction on the outskirts of Khanapur town in Nirmal district late Saturday.
According to local sub-inspector Rahul Gaikwad, the victims—Choppadandi Lakshman (25) and Padigala Jaswanth (19), both residents of Indanpalli village in Jannaram mandal – were travelling on a Pulsar motorcycle towards Nirmal. They were reportedly delivering wedding invitations for Lakshman’s upcoming marriage.
The motorcycle lost control while negotiating a curve at the Komaram Bheem Junction, crashed into a culvert, and veered into roadside shrubs. Both men sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
Lakshman, scheduled to be married within the week, had set out to invite relatives when the fatal accident occurred, plunging his family into mourning. Jaswanth’s mother, Bhagyalakshmi, filed a formal complaint following the crash.
