Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Legislative Council Government Chief Whip Dr. Patnam Mahender Reddy paid floral tributes in Delhi on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Telangana ideologue Prof. Kothapalli Jayashankar and the death anniversary of revolutionary balladeer Gaddar.
The homage was part of the ongoing protest for 42% BC reservations at Jantar Mantar. The leaders remembered Jayashankar’s relentless fight for a separate Telangana and hailed Gaddar’s cultural role in awakening social consciousness through song and performance.
Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Seethakka, along with MLAs Malreddy Ranga Reddy and Manohar Reddy, joined the tribute. Senior Congress leader Rohin Reddy and former Vikarabad ZPTC Mahipal Reddy also participated.
